My History
I remember, at a young age my dad brought home this atari system or something of the like, and you could type in numbers and it would change the colors of the bars on the screen. I was completely engrossed in this, and had no idea what the numbers were doing or how they worked, but after that moment I was done. Completely sold on technology, without even realizing it. A few years had passed and my dad and I built our very first computer, it was a Packard Bell, and ran msdos. I was probably around 5 years old at the time, and didn't really know how to spell or type, but my dad did teach me how to launch some games and as I watched him use the computer and install the first version of windows, and he was always reading Dos for Dummies and Windows for Dummies, he would teach me what he learned, as I learned to type and work the commands I eventually started writing small batch scripts to automatically change directories and launch games. As my interest continued to grow, I eventually got into Windows 95, getting on AOL and teaching myself to make websites in my early preteen years. This all started by injecting what I now know as HTML into AOL profiles, and customizing the code, then eventually making homestead websites and geocities which eventually lead to me convincing my parents to buy me my own domain. After years of teaching myself HTML/CSS/Javascript and graphics design with photoshop, I had several websites under my belt and even had a small staff of friends who helped me with content on these sites. By time I was getting into high school I had one of the largest Final Fantasy websites which held quests and walkthroughs, full item lists and everything that me and my friends wrote out. These sites were using PHP and MySQL by this point.
